Is it really free?
Our free version of PC Bug Doctor will allow you to scan your computer for errors an unlimited number of times for free. In order to fix errors found on your PC you will need to purchase an unlock code. You can easily order your unlock code
here.

I cant get my unlock key to work, what can I do?
All key provided at the time of purchase have been tested and proven to work the most common mistakes are using capitals and spaces (do not use caps or spaces) also,
do not use Your Name as the user ID as this will cause an invalid key error as well. Only use the user ID and unlock key you were provided at the time of purchase. If you have lost your key you can email us @ [email protected].

Please Note: You must provide us with your Order ID number or your full name, phone number, and email address you used when you ordered so that your purchase can be verified… 

I bought PC Bug Doctor and can't seem to register my copy…
Simply copy the registration code we gave you on your order thank you page and paste it into PC Bug Doctor when prompted for it. Be sure to input the User Name provided by us during your purchase (not your name).

It looks like part of the program is missing in the top left corner…
You just need to install the Free Macromedia Shockwave and Flash multimedia software located
here.

When I run the scan feature my system locks up or the scan does not complete

There are 2 possible solutions to this problem

  1. Make sure all programs potentially running in the background turned off. By disabling unnecessary programs running in the background it will not only solve the lock up problem, but save memory and keep the unnecessary programs from robbing valuable resources from your system.
  2. Rebooting your system and rerunning the scan will fix this problem most the time as well.

Some errors were not fixed, what is wrong?

Some errors are classified as such and then designated as an error, but due to PC Bug Doctor’s smart algorithm it chooses to leave the error in place because multiple programs may be using a shared tool and correcting this would impact programs that you still use. It is better to leave the error with one program then have it affect four programs.  You may also try rebooting your system as this has been known to fix this issue as well.

Why did a shortcut to one of my programs disappear from my desktop and how may I replace it?

Shortcuts when created are not always created in the proper way, and PC Bug Doctor identifies this but sometimes it is necessary to recreate the shortcut in the correct fashion.

Below are the instructions for creating/recreating your shortcut…

To put a shortcut on the desktop

Open "My Computer".

Double-click a drive or folder.

Click the item you want such as a file, program, folder, printer, or computer.

On the File menu, click "Create Shortcut".

Resize the window so you can see the desktop.

Drag the new shortcut to the desktop.

To open "My Computer", click "Start", and then click "My Computer". You can also drag an item to the desktop with the right mouse button, and then click "Create Shortcut(s) here". If you would like to change a shortcut's properties then simply right-click the shortcut and click "Properties". When you delete a shortcut to an item the original item is not deleted. The program should still exist on your computer in its original location.

PC Bug Doctor did not fix my computers component why?

Although PC Bug Doctor fixes all errors it identifies during it's scan, it
might not fix issues with your hardware (Software can not fix hardware).  If
there is a possibility that this is a hardware issue try using this
free diagnostic tool. Let us know if it flags a specific piece of hardware on
your PC so we can get this error taken care of promptly.   You can download it from here.

PC Bug Doctor fixed the errors it identified but I still have problems what should I do?

PC Bug Doctor will fix most common PC Errors found and will fix all errors identified during the scan.  You might have conflict with another program running in the background hanging your system up or causing other errors.  If your getting errors for this reason you will need to check for other additional errors with our software where as you are bound to run into other issues down the road that could reap havoc on your system. I've listed some instructions to get rid of any conflicts with other programs running in the background below but I would still highly recommend running our software as well. Many technical support personnel recommend it and for very good reason, virtually, trouble FREE computing!
